The Territory Records Act 2002 requires ACT Government Directorates to have an approved Records, Information and Data Management Program.

The JACS Records, Information and Data Management Program comprises three (3) seperate documents- The Program itself, as well as a Policy document and a Standard Operating Procedure. 

The JACS Records, Information and Data Management Program outlines the roles and responsibilites of all JACS staff in managing the Directorate's records, information and data in an accurate, complete, cost-effective, accessible, and compliant manner.
