The Australian Federal Police (AFP) is responsible for providing community policing in the Australian Capital Territory. The AFP provides this service through ACT Policing. The Policing Arrangement and Purchase Agreement outline the details of the arrangements in place between the ACT Government and the Commonwealth for these services.

The ACT Minister for Police and Emergency Services issues Ministerial Directions to outline the Government’s priorities and expectations for ACT Policing.
